Panda Scrimshaw

This will be my next scrimshaw. The Ivory is fossil Mammoth weighs 82 grams and measures 11cm wide x 7cm high.

Step 1 – 15/6/21

This picture shows the Ivory polished and ready for the picture to be attached so the outline can be cut.

Step 2 – 15/6/21

This picture shows the picture attached to the Ivory ready for the outline to be cut.

Step 3 – 18/6/21

This picture shows the Panda completed. Next I’ll make the stand.

Step 4 – 20/6/21

This shows the panda completed, and sitting on its stand made from Rose wood with a mammoth Ivory name plate.
