Hiding Tiger Scrimshaw

I like this scene with the Tiger hiding behind palm branches.

The Mammoth Ivory weighs 101 grams and measures 10cm wide x 7cm high.

Step 1 – 10/5/21

This picture shows the Ivory polished and ready for the picture to be attached so the outline can be cut.

Step 2 – 10/5/21

This picture shows the picture attached to the Ivory ready for the outline to be cut.

Step 3 – 12/5/21

This picture shows the outline cut and black oil paint applied. I have also filled in all of the black areas.

Step 4 – 14/5/21

Here’s the completed Scrimshaw. Next I’ll make the stand.

Step 5 – 16/5/21

This is the finished scrimshaw on a dark-wood stand with a Mammoth Ivory name plate.
