My next Scrimshaw is a tiger in the dappled light lapping water.

I’ll use this piece of ancient Mammoth Ivory. It weighs 93 grams and measures 12.5 cm wide x 8.5 cm high.

Step 1 – 14/10/20

This picture shows the Mammoth ivory polished and ready for the picture to be attached. There are a few marks on the surface, but it should turn out nicely.

This picture shows the outline cut and black oil paint applied. Next, I will do the black areas.
