This is the next Scrimshaw. It will be done on a piece of ancient Mammoth ivory.

It weighs 72 grams and measures 8cm wide x 12.5 cm high.

This picture shows the outline cut and black oil paint applied. Next, I will do the black areas.

This picture shows the black background finished. Next, I’ll fill in the background leaves.

Here’s the finished Scrimshaw. The base was made from Rose wood with a Mammoth Ivory name plate.
